Question and Answer

When light travels from a rarer to a denser medium, the speed decreases. Does the reduction in speed imply a reduction in the energy carried by the light wave?

As we know that the frequency remains same for reflected light and refracted light, hence energy also remains same that’s why no reduction in energy carried by the light wave.
