What is ozone and how does it affect any ecosystem?
Answer
Ozone (\(O_{3}\)) is a triatomic molecule, consisting of three oxygen atoms.Ozone (\(O_{3}\)) forms a layer in the upper atmosphere. It's really important for the survival of life on earth. It protects the earth's surface from sun-borne ultraviolet radiation, as these radiations are very dangerous in humans which causes skin cancer. It also causes crop damage.
Will the impact of removing all the organisms in a trophic level be different for different trophic levels? can the organisms of any trophic level be removed without causing any damage to the ecosystem?
