Solution

\(1\frac {3}{4}\ kg\) can be written as \(\frac{4\times 1+3}{4}=\frac{7}{4}\ kg\)
Since, \(\frac{7}{4}\ kg\) is to divided equally among seven friends.
So, share of each friend \(=\frac{\frac{7}{4}}{7}\ kg\)
 \(=\frac{7}{4\times 7}\)
\(=\frac{1}{4}\ kg\)
So,  each friend receives \(\frac{1}{4}\ kg\).
Hence, option (B) is correct
