Present age of father $$42$$ yrs
Present age of son $$14$$ yrs
(a) Ratio$$=\frac{age\ of\ father}{age\ of\ son}=\frac{42}{14}=3:1$$
b)When son $$=12$$yrs father was$$=42-2=40$$ yrs
ratio $$=\frac{age\ of\ father}{age\ of\ son}=\frac{40}{12}=10:3$$
c)after 10 years age of father$$=42+10=52$$ and son$$=14+10=24$$
ratio$$=\frac{age\ of\ father}{age\ of\ son}=\frac{52}{24}=13:6$$
d)when father=30 years old means 12 years before, son was $$14-12=2$$ yrs
ratio$$=\frac{age\ of\ father}{age\ of\ son}=\frac{30}{2}=15:1$$
