Non-biodegradable waste creates many problems. Non-biodegradable waste keeps on accumulating in the environment because it does not decompose. If all the waste we generate is biodegradable, this would also have an impact on the environment but most of the impacts would be positive, (i) as the replacement of the plastic wastes would also be biodegradable so it will not harm the soil, in fact, it may provide some useful chemicals to the soil, So there would not be any Soil and Land pollution. (ii) marine-life would not be in danger as it is right now if every waste would be biodegradable, also there would not be any water and Ocean pollution too.
