\((i)\) If we use resources in accord with short term, it will fulfill our current demand and it is beneficial for the present generation only.
\((ii)\)It provides the immediate advantages of meeting recent human needs.
\((iii)\)Fast industrialization and development.
\((iv)\)It provides large number of products for use and comforts.
While the advantages of managing them with a long term perspective are:
\((i)\) As short term perspective improves the lifestyles of people but it decreases the pollution levels, global warming, depletion of resources etc.
\((ii)\)If we use or manage resources with long term perspective , then it will fulfill the needs of future generations.
