QuestionMathsClass 7

Find the median of the data: $$3,\; 11,\;7,\;2,\;5,\;9,\;9,\;2,\;10,\;15,\;7$$.

Given data is $$3,\; 11,\;7,\;2,\;5,\;9,\;9,\;2,\;10,\;15,\;7$$
Arranging in ascending order, $$2,\;2,\;3,\;5,\; 7,\; 7,\;9,\;9,\;10,\;11,\; 15$$
Number of observations $$=11$$ i.e. an odd number.
Thus, Median is the middle most term which is the $$5^{th}$$ term fram both end.
Hence, median $$=7$$.
