A rectangular piece of land measures 0.7 km by 0.5 km. Each side is to befenced with 4 rows of wires. What is the length of the wire needed?


Length of a single row of fire can be given as perimeter of a rectangle.

Perimeter of a rectangle, \({P}={2}{\left({l}+{b}\right)}\)


So, length of wire that has 4 rows \(={4}\ast{2.4}={9.6}{k}{m}\)
