Solution


The radius (\(r\)) of theflat circle (umbrella) \(= 45\ cm\)
So, the area of the circle (\(A\)\(=\pi r^2= \frac{22}7\times (45)^2=6364.29\ cm^2\)
Total number of ribs (\(n\)\(=8\)
\(\therefore\)The area between the two consecutive ribs of the umbrella \(=\frac An\)
\(= \frac{6364.29}8\ cm^2=795.5\ cm^2\)
Or, The area between the two consecutive ribs of the umbrella \(= 795.5\ cm^2\)
