Solution
As we know that \(\text{Power}=VI\) According to the question \(P=100W \)and \(V=220V\) By ohm's law \(V=IR\) Current, \(I=\frac V R\) Than, \(P=V\times \frac{V}{R}\) \(P=\frac{{V}^{2}}{R}\) Resistance \(=\frac{{V}^{2}}{P}\) \(=\frac{{\left. \left(220\right)\right. }^{2}}{100}\) \(=484\;\text{ohm}\)
The wave function, \(y_{n},l,m_{l}\) is a mathematical function whose value depends upon spherical polar coordinates \((r,\theta ,\varphi )\) of the electron and characterised by the quantum number n,1 and \(m_{l}\) . Here r is distance from nucleus, θ is colatitude and φ is azimuth. In the mathematical functions given in the Table, Z is atomic number and \(a_{0}\) is Bohr radius.

A pure inductor of \(25\;\mathit{mH}\) is connected to a source of \(220\;V\) . Find the inductive reactance and the rms current in circuit if the frequency of the source is \(50\;\mathit{Hz}\) .
A lamp is connected in series with a capacitor. Predict your observations for dc and ac connections. What happens in each case if the capacitance is reduced.
The figure shows a smooth pair of thick metallic rails connected across a battery of emf \(ε\) having a negligible internal resistance. A wire ab of length \(l\) and resistance \(r\) can slide smoothly on the rails. The entire system lies in a horizontal plane and is immersed in a uniform vertical magnetic field \(B\). At an instant \(t\), the wire is given a small velocity \(v\) towards the right. Show that after some time the wire \(ab\) will slide with a constant velocity. Find this velocity.
